JLG Forklift Parts - After retiring in the late 1960's, John L. Grove embarked on on a cross country RV trip. After spending numerous years establishing his family built crane company with his brother, John had no idea that this journey would give birth to the rise of JLG Industries, Inc. The world leader of mobile aerial work platforms and precision material handling technologies was the end consequence of a road trip.

During their trip, John reacquainted himself with past business acquaintances along the way. In combination with these conversations and a significant event; two workers had been tragically electrocuted on scaffolding when the Groves were passing through the Hoover Dam. John discovered a considerable market for a product that could promptly and securely lift individuals in the air to accomplish upkeep and other building functions.

Upon returning from their travels, John formed a joint venture with two friends and purchased a metal fabricating company in McConnellsburg, Pennsylvania. In 1970, starting operations with a crew of twenty workers, they built and sold the first JLG aerial work platform. The business incorporates some of the simple design elements of that original lift into existing models.

JLG lift trucks have come a ways from the time when Mr. John L. Grove came back to town from his cross-country road trip and since the first aerial work platform debuted on the market. These days, the business proudly continues to expand itself into a range of markets worldwide and develops new products to make certain customers are capable of being more effective and perform in the workplace within a safer environment.
